Often I am reminded about the Tower of Babel about how God scattered humans and confused the language.

Genesis 11:9(KJV), “Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth:

and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”

At one time on planet Earth, there was only one language. With the Cradle of Civilization being part of ancient Mesopotamia

and part of Egypt, there is no doubt from my research that I’ve conducted that the Sumerians had the first written language.
